F100

Parameter Checksum

Allen-Bradley · PowerFlex 4M Adjustable Frequency AC Drive

What does F100 mean?

An inconsistency has been detected in the drive's parameter memory; the calculated checksum of stored parameters does not match the expected value. This suggests potential data corruption in the non-volatile memory (EEPROM), which could lead to erratic drive behavior due to incorrect parameter settings.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Power cycle the drive and then set parameter P112 [Reset To Defalts] to option 1 'Reset Defaults' to force the drive to reload factory default parameters.

  2. 2

After resetting to defaults, re-program all necessary drive parameters according to your application specifications.

  3. 3

If the fault reoccurs after multiple resets and re-programming, it may indicate a deeper hardware issue with the drive's memory, potentially requiring drive replacement.
