Status of the axis: current controller not ready
Beckhoff · AX5000 Servo Drive
What does F107 mean?
This error signifies that the current controller for a specific axis is not in an operational state, preventing the motor from being controlled. A frequent cause is the "Commutation Mode" parameter (P-0-0150) being incorrectly set to "0: No commutation position," which is a safety setting to inhibit motor activation. The axis cannot be enabled until this parameter is correctly configured and a valid commutation offset is established, indicating a critical setup issue.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Access parameter P-0-0150 in the System Manager and locate the 'Commutation Mode' entry for the affected axis.
- 2
If 'Commutation Mode' is set to '0: No commutation position', change it to either '2:Commutation Offset 0 deg' or '3:Adjustable mechanical Offset' based on your application requirements.
- 3
After changing the commutation mode, it is crucial to perform the procedure to determine and set a valid commutation offset for the axis before attempting to activate (enable) it.
