Initialization error

Beckhoff · AX5000 Servo Drive

What does FA01 mean?

This error indicates a failure during the initial setup or startup phase of the drive or a specific component. It commonly arises from incorrect configuration settings in parameter P-0-0150, or from fundamental wiring errors affecting the drive or feedback system, preventing proper initialization. This fault will prevent the drive from becoming fully operational and ready for control, leading to a non-functional system state. It can also be a consequential error of F4A5.

  1. 3

If F4A5 (SoE Communication Parameter Error) is simultaneously active, prioritize resolving the root cause of F4A5 first, as FA01 may be a secondary symptom triggered by the primary communication parameter issue.
