42F6

Invalid parameter (auxiliary axis velocity reduction)

Beckhoff · TwinCAT 2 NC

What does 42F6 mean?

The limit for velocity reduction of the auxiliary axes is invalid, as it must be within the interval [0.0, 1.0]. An incorrect value will cause issues with how auxiliary axis velocities are scaled, potentially leading to overspeed, underspeed, or uncoordinated motion, risking damage or poor performance.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Set the velocity reduction limit for auxiliary axes to a value between 0.0 and 1.0 (inclusive).

  2. 2

Review the application's requirements for auxiliary axis velocity scaling to choose an appropriate value.

  3. 3

Save configuration changes and restart the NC system to apply the new limit.
