#68

Safe stop activated by HP (High Pressure) switch trip

Danfoss · FC302 AC Drives Programming Guide

What does #68 mean?

The system has initiated a safe stop due to the High Pressure (HP) switch tripping. This indicates that the system's internal pressure has exceeded its safe operating limits, triggering a protective shutdown to prevent damage to the compressor or other components within the refrigeration circuit. The system will not operate until this condition is cleared.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Investigate and rectify the root cause of the high-pressure condition within the refrigeration system (e.g., restricted airflow, overcharge, fan failure).

  2. 2

Manually reset the high-pressure switch, if applicable, after resolving the pressure issue.

  3. 3

Reset the drive to clear the alarm and attempt to restart the unit.
