DC link voltage high

Danfoss · VLT AutomationDrive FC 301/302

What does 5 mean?

The DC-link voltage is higher than the drive's high-voltage warning limit, which depends on the drive voltage rating. The unit remains active at this warning state, but continued high voltage could lead to an overvoltage trip.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Check the incoming mains voltage for stability and ensure it is within the drive's rated input voltage range.

  2. 2

If occurring during deceleration, extend the ramp-down time to reduce regenerative energy, or enable/adjust braking functions (e.g., parameter 2-10).
