DC overvoltage
Danfoss · VLT AutomationDrive FC 301/302
What does 7 mean?
If the DC-link voltage exceeds a specific limit, the frequency converter will trip after a certain time delay. This typically occurs due to regenerative energy from the motor during deceleration or an issue with the mains supply.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Connect a brake resistor if not already present, or verify the existing brake resistor is correctly sized and functioning.
- 2
Extend the ramp-down time to reduce the rate of regenerative energy feedback.
- 3
Activate or adjust functions in parameter 2-10 Brake Function.
- 4
If the alarm/warning occurs during a power sag, enable kinetic back-up via parameter 14-10 Mains Failure.
