Over Current
Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive FC 102
What does 13 mean?
The motor current has exceeded the drive's safe operating limits. This is a critical fault indicating either a sudden load increase, a motor issue (e.g., winding fault), or a short circuit in the motor cables. This can lead to rapid component damage and cause the drive to trip.
Additional Steps
Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.
- 3
Verify motor parameters and current limits in the drive are correctly set to match the motor.
- 4
Review acceleration/deceleration ramps for overly aggressive settings that could cause current spikes.
