Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive High Power
What does ALARM 2 mean?
The signal on one of the analog inputs is less than 50% of the programmed minimum value. This condition, appearing if parameter 6-01 Live Zero Timeout Function is programmed, often indicates broken wiring or a faulty sensor/device sending the analog signal, risking incorrect operation or control.
Complete Troubleshooting Guide
- 1
Check connections on all analog input terminals (control card 53/54 with 55 common, MCB 101 terminals 11/12 with 10 common, MCB 109 terminals 1/3/5 with 2/4/6 common).
- 2
Verify that the frequency converter's programming and switch settings correctly match the type of analog signal being used.
- 3
Perform an input terminal signal test to confirm proper signal reception.
