ABB · ACS560 Standard Control Program Firmware
The control board temperature has exceeded 88°C, indicating a critical overheating condition. Sustained high temperatures can lead to unreliable drive operation, component damage, or premature failure of the control board, ultimately causing system shutdown.
Click steps to track your progress.
De-energize the drive and inspect the control board and internal cooling fans for dust, debris, or obstructions. Clean thoroughly using compressed air.
Verify that all internal cooling fans (e.g., control board fan, heatsink fan) are operational and spinning freely when power is applied.
Measure the ambient temperature inside the control cabinet; confirm it is below the maximum specified temperature (e.g., 40°C or 50°C).
Check drive parameters related to fan control (e.g., P06-01 to P06-03) to ensure fans are configured to run at appropriate speeds.
Ensure proper clearance and ventilation paths for the drive within the control cabinet, following manufacturer's installation guidelines.
