Current Measurement Failure

ABB · ACS800 Standard Firmware

What does 2211 mean?

A failure has occurred in a current transformer within the output current measurement circuit. This will lead to inaccurate or no current feedback for the drive, severely impacting motor control, protection functions, and overall drive performance.

Common Causes

  • Failure in the current measurement circuitry (e.g., current transformers, Hall effect sensors).
  • Internal fault within the drive's current sensing hardware.
  • Open circuit or short circuit in the current sensor signal path.
  • Incorrect current sensor calibration or configuration (P1-01, P1-02).

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1
