ABB · ACS800 Standard Firmware
An excessive DC voltage has been detected in the intermediate circuit of the drive. The DC overvoltage trip limit is calculated as 1.3 × 1.35 × U1max, which corresponds to 728 VDC for 400 V units, 877 VDC for 500 V units, and 1210 VDC for 690 V units. This fault is associated with bit 2 of Fault Word 1 (3.05 FW 1).

Verify that the overvoltage controller function is enabled by checking parameter 20.05.
Measure the incoming AC supply voltage for any static or transient overvoltage conditions that exceed nominal limits.
Inspect the brake chopper and its associated resistor (if installed) for proper functionality and wiring.
Increase the deceleration time parameter in the drive settings to allow for a slower deceleration of the motor.
If applicable, enable the coast-to-stop function to allow the motor to freely decelerate without regenerative braking.
Consider installing or retrofitting a brake chopper and brake resistor if the application experiences frequent overvoltage trips during deceleration.
