ABB · ACS850 Standard Program Firmware
The drive has detected that the output frequency has exceeded 550 Hz. This restriction is required to meet relevant European Export Control Regulations. Operating above this frequency can violate regulatory requirements and indicates an issue with the control system's commanded speed, potentially leading to shutdown.
Click steps to track your progress.
Reduce the commanded speed reference to a value that results in an output frequency below 550 Hz (e.g., scale analog input 0-10V to 0-500 Hz).
Verify the motor's nameplate rated frequency (e.g., 50 Hz or 60 Hz) and rated speed (RPM) against parameters P2-03 and P2-04 respectively.
Adjust the drive's maximum output frequency parameter (e.g., P1-04) to a value not exceeding 550 Hz (e.g., 500 Hz for margin).
Inspect the scaling of the speed reference input (e.g., P4-01 for analog input scaling) to ensure it does not produce commands exceeding the frequency limit.
Monitor the drive's actual output frequency (e.g., P0-02) during operation to pinpoint when the limit is approached or exceeded using a data logger.
