The drive has detected a loss of one or more phases in the incoming supply power and has tripped. This fault prevents operation on an unbalanced supply which can cause severe damage to the drive's input rectifier stage and other internal components. It indicates a problem in the electrical supply chain.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. De-energize the entire system and measure AC voltage at the drive's input terminals (L1-L2, L2-L3, L3-L1) with a multimeter; all three line-to-line voltages should be balanced.
2. Inspect and test all input fuses (e.g., F1, F2, F3) upstream of the drive for continuity with an ohmmeter.
3. Check all input power wiring connections at the drive and upstream protective devices for tightness and signs of overheating.
4. Verify the status and operation of any upstream circuit breakers or disconnects; reset if tripped after investigating cause.
5. If present, inspect input line reactors or chokes for damage or open circuits.
