An operation was attempted that would create an overlapping condition between parameter groups, which is not allowed by the system architecture. This can happen when configuring resources that are allocated in blocks, and a new allocation attempts to use an already occupied segment, leading to resource conflict.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Review the drive controller's I/O mapping parameters (e.g., P6-01 to P6-05 for digital inputs/outputs, P7-01 for analog inputs) and reassign conflicting functions to different physical terminals.
2. Use the drive's dedicated configuration software (e.g., DriveConfigurator) to visualize resource assignments and resolve any identified overlaps.
3. If using advanced parameter linking, ensure that linked parameters do not inadvertently target or modify the same underlying resource.
4. Reload a known good parameter configuration file that is verified to not have overlapping group assignments for the specific drive hardware.
