A duplicate label has been detected in the program or configuration. This usually indicates a naming conflict that needs to be resolved.
Click steps to track your progress.
Verify the exact duplicate label name and its reported location(s) as indicated by the Logix 5000 controller status or Studio 5000 Logix Designer error messages.
Access the Studio 5000 Logix Designer project (ACD file) currently loaded into the controller or the relevant offline copy.
Inspect the Controller Tags, Program Tags within all programs, and the I/O Configuration tree for any tags, aliases, or module names sharing the identified duplicate label.
Utilize the cross-reference tool (right-click on tag/label -> Cross Reference) in Studio 5000 Logix Designer to identify all instances and usages of the duplicate label throughout the entire project.
Check for recently imported Add-On Instructions (AOIs), User-Defined Data Types (UDTs), or routines that may have introduced new tags or members with conflicting names.
