The drive is unable to successfully accelerate or decelerate the motor to the commanded speed, indicating a motor stall condition. This typically happens when the mechanical load is too high, or acceleration/deceleration ramps are set too aggressively, causing the output current to exceed limits for an extended period. This risks motor and drive damage from overheating.

Disconnect the motor from the mechanical load and attempt to run the motor unloaded, observing the motor current (P0-04 [Motor Current]) and speed (P0-01 [Motor Speed]).
Manually rotate the motor shaft and connected mechanical load (if accessible) to identify any binding, excessive friction, or obstructions.
Increase the stall current limit (P1-54 [Stall Current Limit]) in 5% increments relative to the motor's nominal current (P1-50 [Motor Nominal Current]), ensuring it remains within safe motor limits.
Verify all motor parameter settings (P1-50 [Motor Nominal Current], P1-51 [Motor Nominal Speed], P1-52 [Motor Nominal Voltage]) are accurately programmed according to the motor nameplate.
Increase the acceleration time (P2-01 [Acceleration Time]) by 1-2 seconds to allow the motor more time to overcome inertia and reach commanded speed.
