What does Diag 2 Flash 7 mean?

The internal temperature of the terminal has fallen below its specified operating range. This cold condition can negatively impact the performance, response time, and reliability of the internal electronics and overall safety functions. Continued operation outside the specified temperature range may lead to malfunction or damage to components.

• Environmental temperature in the control cabinet or operating area falling below the module's specified minimum operating temperature (e.g., 0°C or -25°C).
• Excessive air flow from a cooling fan directed directly at the module in a cold environment, causing localized overcooling.
• Terminal enclosure not properly sealed, allowing cold ambient air to enter and directly cool sensitive internal components.
• Faulty or miscalibrated internal temperature sensor reporting inaccurately low temperatures.
• Inadequate or failed cabinet heating system leading to persistent sub-optimal operating temperatures.

   1. Measure the ambient temperature inside the control cabinet using a calibrated thermometer. Ensure it is within the module's specified operating range (e.g., 0°C to 55°C).
