What does 18 mean?

The drive attempted to start the motor but failed to achieve successful operation. This could be due to mechanical issues, incorrect motor parameters, insufficient power, or an inability to overcome the initial load.

• Excessive mechanical load or binding on the motor shaft or driven equipment, preventing successful startup.
• Incorrect motor parameters (e.g., P7-01, Motor Rated Current; P7-02, Motor Rated Speed) entered into the drive, leading to improper control.
• Drive acceleration ramp time (P3-02, Ramp 1 Accel Time) set too short for a high-inertia load, causing overcurrent during acceleration.
• Motor not correctly wired for the drive's output voltage (e.g., star/delta configuration mismatch).
• Insufficient drive output current (e.g., P6-02, Rated Motor Current) capacity for the required starting torque of the motor.
