Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive FC 102
The internal USB communication buffer has overflowed, indicating that data is being received faster than the drive can process it. This leads to data loss and unreliable USB communication, affecting diagnostics or parameter transfers.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Ensure a high-quality, shielded USB A-B cable (maximum 3 meters length) is being used for the connection between the laptop and the drive.
2. Verify that the correct and latest USB drivers for the frequency converter are installed on the connected laptop. Reinstall the drivers if unsure or if they are outdated.
3. Try connecting the laptop to a different USB port on the drive, or use a different USB port on the laptop to rule out port specific issues.
4. If using manufacturer software, check if there are settings to reduce the polling rate or data transfer speed during parameter upload/download operations.
5. Update the frequency converter's firmware to the latest version, as this might include USB communication stability improvements and bug fixes.
