Danfoss · VLT HVAC Drive FC 102
An internal parameter's stored value has fallen outside its predefined minimum or maximum allowable range within a specific memory region. This can be caused by data corruption, an incorrect parameter write, or a software anomaly, leading to unexpected drive behavior or shutdown.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Note the exact fault code and any associated sub-codes, as these often point to the specific parameter or memory region affected.
2. Perform a full power cycle of the frequency converter: Disconnect all power for 5 minutes, then reapply.
3. Connect a laptop with manufacturer software and attempt to read all parameters from the drive. Identify any parameters that display 'invalid' or 'out of range' values.
4. Perform a factory reset of all parameters (e.g., parameter 8-10, setting to 1) and then reload a known good parameter backup from a file.
5. If a backup is not available, meticulously re-enter all parameters manually, verifying each setting against the application requirements or a default parameter list.
6. Verify the stability of the input power supply by measuring L1, L2, L3 phase voltages at terminals R, S, T using a multimeter. Ensure measurements are within ±10% of nominal.
