Serial Spindle Amplifier Disconnected (15i)

What does SP0220 mean?

The cable connected to the serial spindle amplifier for Series 15i is disconnected, or no serial spindle amplifier is connected. This prevents communication and control of the spindle.

Common Causes

  • Serial spindle amplifier disconnected or not communicating (15i).
  • Loss of communication with the spindle drive.
  • Spindle amplifier not powered or faulty.
