Invalid Cutting Conditions
Fanuc · Series 0i Manual Guide
What does 3007 mean?
This P/S alarm indicates that the cutting conditions specified in the machining program are invalid. This often involves parameters like feedrate or spindle speed that are outside acceptable ranges or are incompatible with the current operation, preventing safe and effective machining.
Common Causes
- Feed rate or spindle speed parameters are not suitable for the material.
- Tool geometry or type is inappropriate for the programmed cutting speed.
- Excessive depth of cut or width of cut specified (e.g., P7-05).
- Machining parameters are set to values that could damage the tool or workpiece.
