Pulse Not Established

Fanuc · R-30iB Mate + Mate Plus Robot

What does SRVO-075 mean?

This alarm (G:i A:j) indicates that the absolute position of the Pulsecoder cannot be established. This typically occurs during startup or after a power cycle if the encoder's absolute position data is lost or corrupted, preventing the robot from determining its current joint angles.

Common Causes

  • Initial pulse signal from the pulsecoder has not been established within the expected timeframe.
  • Pulsecoder not providing a valid position reference signal at startup.
  • Encoder initialization error during servo system power-up.
  • Faulty pulsecoder unable to generate initial homing or reference pulses.
  • Incorrect homing procedure or missing reference marker detection.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

    Reset the alarm condition.

  2. 2

Jog the affected axis until the alarm no longer occurs, allowing the Pulsecoder to re-establish its position.
