607 n AXIS: CNV. SINGLE PHASE FAILURE

CONVERTER SINGLE PHASE FAILURE

Fanuc · Series 0i-D/0i Mate-D Maintenance

What does 607 n AXIS: CNV. SINGLE PHASE FAILURE mean?

This warning signal on the Fanuc Series 0i-D/0i Mate-D αi servo system indicates a loss of one phase in the input power supply to the converter (SVWRN4, SVWRN3, SVWRN2, SVWRN1 active). Depending on the Power Supply Module (PSMR/PSM), an alarm will occur within five seconds to one minute.

Common Causes

  • Loss of one phase in the incoming three-phase AC power supply.
  • Faulty or tripped upstream circuit breaker or fuse for one phase.
  • Poor contact or failure in a magnetic contactor supplying power to the converter.
  • Loose or damaged power wiring connections to the converter.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure the incoming three-phase AC supply voltage at the converter's input terminals to verify all phases are present and balanced.

  2. 2

Inspect all input power connections to the converter for looseness, corrosion, or damage, including fuses and circuit breakers.

  3. 3

Check the operation of any upstream contactors or protective devices for proper functionality and contact integrity.

  4. 4

Verify that the main power supply to the machine is stable and not experiencing sags or interruptions on one phase.

  5. 5

If input power is confirmed stable and correctly connected, inspect the converter unit for internal damage if the issue persists.
