This alarm indicates an overheat condition within the Inverter (Servo Amplifier). Potential causes include motor overload, inadequate cabinet cooling, high ambient temperature, or improper seating of the control printed-circuit board, all of which can lead to thermal stress on the amplifier.
Click steps to track your progress.
Check that the motor is being used at or below its continuous rating.
Inspect the cabinet cooling fans and filters to ensure sufficient cooling capacity.
Verify that the ambient temperature is within acceptable operating limits.
Ensure the faceplate (control printed-circuit board) is pushed in as far as it will go.
Replace the Servo Amplifier if all other checks are satisfactory.
