What does 6 mean?

This code indicates one of two distinct issues depending on the equipment type. For PSM or PSMR units, it signifies a decrease in the control power supply voltage, which can disrupt the unit's operation. For Inverter units, it indicates an overheat condition that can be caused by various environmental or operational factors, potentially leading to equipment damage or shutdown.

• Input voltage decrease to the PSM/PSMR power supply unit
• Motor operating at or above its continuous rating (for Inverter units)
• Insufficient cooling capacity within the cabinet, such as clogged filters or non-functional fans (for Inverter units)
• Ambient temperature exceeding the specified operating limits (for Inverter units)
• The control printed-circuit board faceplate not being fully seated (for Inverter units)
