Indramat · CLM01.3-M Flying Cutoff Control
The drive reduces the maximum possible motor current to protect the motor from destruction. This warning is issued when the motor peak current (S-0-0109) is reduced due to current limitation. If a current greater than 2.2 times the motor current at standstill (S-0-0111) flows, the current reduction begins. With 4-fold motor current at standstill, reduction starts after 400 ms; with 5-fold, it starts earlier; with 3-fold, later. This reduction also affects P-0-4045 (Active permanent current).
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect the mechanical system driven by the motor for any binding, blockage, or excessive friction that could cause high current draw.
Verify the motor parameters S-0-0111 (Motor current at standstill) and S-0-0109 (Motor peak current) in the Indramat DIAX04 SSE-03VRS drive controller against the motor nameplate data and application requirements.
Monitor the motor's actual current draw during operation and compare it against its nominal and peak ratings to confirm an overload condition.
Adjust process parameters or mechanical settings to reduce the load on the motor if it is consistently operating at or near its current limits.
Evaluate the P-0-4045 (Active permanent current) parameter setting to ensure it is appropriate for the application.
