Indramat · IndraDrive MPx02
The IndraDrive MPx02 has detected an open circuit or wire break on either analog input 1 or analog input 2. This means the drive is not receiving a valid signal from the connected analog sensor or command source, potentially leading to incorrect control, erratic behavior, or machine safety issues.
Click steps to track your progress.
Immediately power down the drive and visually inspect the wiring connections at the analog input terminals (e.g., X31 for Analog Input 1, X32 for Analog Input 2) on the IndraDrive MPx02.
Check the entire length of the cable from the analog sensor or signal source to the drive for any physical damage or breaks.
Measure the voltage or current signal directly at the sensor output and then again at the drive's input terminals to identify where the signal is lost.
Verify that the sensor is correctly powered and functioning, and check its output range matches the drive's configured analog input range.
Ensure correct polarity and common connections are made. If the wiring is correct and the sensor is verified, the issue might be an internal drive input circuit fault, requiring service.
