What does Software limit switch A5 mean?

Axis A5 of the robot has reached or attempted to move beyond its configured software limit switch in a specific direction (either positive or negative). This is a protective measure to prevent mechanical damage or collisions by restricting the robot's working range.

Common Causes

  • Jogging axis A5 manually beyond its programmed positive or negative software limit.
  • A programmed motion command for axis A5 attempts to exceed the defined software limit switch boundary.
