CCr

System fault

Lenze · 4800/4900 Series

What does CCr mean?

This fault indicates a general internal system error within the drive's hardware or software that is not categorized by a more specific code. By default, this condition is configured as a Warning, meaning it alerts the operator and is logged, but it does not immediately inhibit pulses. This general fault warrants investigation as it could lead to unpredictable behavior or drive damage if ignored.

Common Causes

  • Transient internal memory corruption or software glitch within the drive's control system.
  • Internal power supply instability or component degradation on the drive's control board.
  • Over-temperature condition detected on an internal drive component not tied to the main heatsink sensor.
  • Corruption of critical operating parameters (e.g., P0-01 to P9-99) stored in non-volatile memory.
  • Unspecified hardware component failure on the drive's control or power board.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Perform a controlled power cycle of the drive (turn off mains supply for 30 seconds, then re-apply).

  2. 2

Record all existing drive parameters (P-xxxx values) and then perform a factory reset if the fault persists.

  3. 3

Inspect the drive's internal cooling fans for proper operation and obstructions; measure airflow if possible.

  4. 4

Verify that ambient temperature around the drive enclosure does not exceed the manufacturer's specified maximum (e.g., 50°C).

  5. 5

Check the drive's event log for recurring fault patterns or secondary fault codes preceding the 'CCr' event.

  6. 6

If available, update the drive's firmware to the latest stable version according to manufacturer instructions.
