A system failure has occurred, likely due to strong interference injection on control cables or ground/earth loops in the wiring. This indicates an electrical noise or grounding issue affecting the controller's stability.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Power down the drive, re-route control cables away from power cables (minimum 10cm separation) and ensure shielding is properly terminated at one end to chassis ground.
2. Verify all grounding connections for the drive and control system are robust and follow a single-point grounding scheme if possible.
3. Check the incoming control voltage at the drive's control power terminals for stability using a multimeter, looking for sags or spikes.
4. Measure the resistance between the drive chassis and the main control cabinet ground to ensure a low impedance path (ideally < 0.1 Ohm).
5. Isolate external control signals by temporarily disconnecting them one by one to identify a potential source of interference.
