The encoder for detecting the motor temperature at X7 or X8 is indicating undefined values. This prevents proper motor thermal protection and could lead to motor damage due to overheating.

Power off the drive, disconnect the temperature sensor cable from X7 or X8, and measure the sensor resistance at ambient temperature.
Compare the measured resistance to the sensor's datasheet (e.g., ~25 Ohm for PTC, ~1k Ohm for KTY at 20°C, ~100 Ohm for PT100 at 0°C).
Verify drive parameters (e.g., P3-50, P3-51) are correctly configured for the specific type of motor temperature sensor installed.
Inspect the sensor cable for cuts, insulation damage, or loose connections at X7/X8 terminals and the motor connection box.
If using a PT100/1000 sensor, verify the cable shielding is properly connected and grounded to prevent EMI.
Temporarily connect a known good resistor of appropriate value (e.g., 25 Ohm for PTC) across the X7/X8 input to bypass the sensor and check the drive's response.
