This fault occurs when the installed power unit is not supported by the inverter's current software version. This immediately disables the inverter, leading to motor coasting, and the error can only be reset by mains switching.

Verify the part number and model of the installed power unit (PU) against the inverter's documentation to ensure compatibility.
Check the inverter's current control unit (CU) firmware version and compare it with the minimum firmware version required to support the installed power unit.
Update the inverter's control unit (CU) firmware to the latest compatible version that supports the installed power unit.
If the power unit is confirmed to be incompatible, replace it with a supported model or, if applicable, replace the control unit with one that supports the existing power unit.
Perform a mains power cycle after any firmware update or hardware change to allow the inverter to re-initialize and detect the power unit.
