Lenze · i550 Protec Drive
This fault indicates that too many deviations occurred during the pole position identification process, or the rated motor current is too high or too low compared to the inverter. This can result in incorrect motor control and potential damage. The configurable setting is 0x2C60.
Click steps to track your progress.
Verify all motor nameplate data (rated current, voltage, speed, frequency, power factor, pole pairs) are accurately entered in drive parameters (e.g., P100-P105).
Decouple the motor from its mechanical load or ensure the shaft can rotate freely during the pole position identification procedure.
Measure the resistance between motor phases (U-V, V-W, W-U) at the drive's output terminals to confirm balanced winding integrity.
Check the motor power cable connections at both the drive output terminals (U, V, W) and the motor terminal box for secure contact.
Ensure the drive's rated output current (e.g., P01-02) is appropriately matched to the motor's rated current specification.
If an encoder is used, verify its connection and signal integrity (e.g., A/B/Z pulses with an oscilloscope).
