Mitsubishi Electric · FR-D700 Inverter
The 'STOP' button on the operation panel (PU) has been pressed during External operation mode. This warning indicates that the inverter has been commanded to stop via the parameter unit while in an external control mode. The inverter output is not shut off by this warning, but the operation will cease.
Click steps to track your progress.
Instruct operators to use the designated external stop control (e.g., emergency stop button, PLC stop command) when in External operation mode.
Verify Pr. 79 (Operation mode selection) to confirm the intended control source (e.g., '1' for External operation).
If local control is preferred for stopping, change Pr. 79 to '0' (PU operation) or use a logic that allows PU stop override.
Confirm that the external run command (e.g., STF/STR terminal) is still active if the intention was for the inverter to resume external operation.
Clear the fault (if it's latching) and restart the inverter using the external run command.
