This communication option fault stops the inverter output due to a communication line error during CC-Link operation. It can be caused by physical cable issues, incorrect lengths, or improper termination. This disruption prevents control and monitoring via the CC-Link network.
Click steps to track your progress.
Verify proper CC-Link cable type (shielded twisted pair) and ensure it is not exceeding maximum length specifications for the chosen baud rate.
Confirm termination resistors (typically 110 Ohm) are correctly installed at both ends of the CC-Link network segment.
Check and reseat the CC-Link cable connections at the option card terminals (e.g., DA, DB, DG) and the CC-Link master device.
Verify that the CC-Link station address (e.g., Pr. 120) and baud rate (e.g., Pr. 121) are correctly configured and match the master.
Use a CC-Link network analyzer (if available) to diagnose signal integrity and identify communication errors.
