This USB communication fault stops the inverter output if communication is interrupted for a duration longer than specified by Pr. 548 (USB communication check time interval). It indicates a loss of data integrity or physical connection over the USB link. This prevents remote control or monitoring via USB.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Replace the existing USB cable with a new, high-quality, shielded USB 2.0 or 3.0 cable, ensuring it is no longer than 3 meters.
2. Reroute the USB cable away from high-voltage power cables, motor cables, and other sources of electrical noise. Consider using ferrite chokes on the USB cable ends.
3. Verify that the correct USB drivers are installed on the connected PC. Update or reinstall the drivers if necessary. Check the inverter manufacturer's website for specific driver downloads.
4. Increase the value of Pr. 548 (USB communication check time interval) in the inverter to provide more tolerance for brief communication interruptions, starting with a 2x increase.
5. Test the inverter's USB port with a different PC or a known-good USB device, and test the PC's USB port with another device to isolate the faulty component.
