Mitsubishi Electric · FR-A800 Variable Speed Drive (Separated Converter)
This fault indicates a problem with the internal 24 VDC power supply of the FR-A800/A800 Plus Series drive or an issue with an external 24 VDC power supply connected to terminal +24, which powers the control circuit. This can impact the drive's control functions.
Click steps to track your progress.
Disconnect all external loads from the drive's internal 24 VDC supply (terminals PC, +24) and power cycle the drive. If the fault clears, a connected device is overloaded or shorted.
If an external 24 VDC power supply is used, measure its output voltage and current under load, ensuring it is within the specified range of 23 to 25.5 VDC and current is 1.4 A or less.
Inspect the wiring connected to the 24 VDC terminals for any short circuits or ground faults.
Check for any devices connected to the 24 VDC output that might be drawing excessive current.
If the fault persists after disconnecting all external loads, it may indicate a failure of the internal 24 VDC power supply within the FR-A800/A800 Plus Series drive.
