Er2

Write error during operation

Mitsubishi Electric · Mitsubishi FR-E800 Variable Frequency Drive

What does Er2 mean?

This error signifies that a parameter write was attempted while Pr.77 (Parameter write selection) was set to '0', which explicitly disables parameter write operations during inverter run-time. It prevents accidental or unauthorized parameter changes while the system is active.

Common Causes

  • Data corruption during an attempt to write operational parameters.
  • Interruption of power supply while parameter changes were being processed.
  • Internal memory error during parameter write operation.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Stop the inverter operation before attempting to make any parameter settings.

  2. 2

Alternatively, set Pr.77 to '2' to enable parameter write capability during operation.
