What does PS mean?

This indication means the motor has been stopped either by pressing the STOP/RESET key (when enabled in modes other than PU operation via Pr.75) or by the emergency stop function. It signifies a deliberate or emergency shutdown of the motor's operation.

Common Causes

  • External stop signal received from the operator panel (PU).
  • Stop command issued from the human-machine interface.
  • PU unit disconnected or in a fault state.

  1. 1

    If stopped by the STOP/RESET key, turn OFF the start signal and press the PU/EXT key to release the stop.

  2. 2

    If stopped by an emergency function (indicated by the X92 signal being OFF), turn ON the X92 signal and turn OFF the start signal for release.
