Omron · NJ/NX-series Machine Automation Controller
The current flowing through the converter exceeded the specified value. This fault indicates an overcurrent condition within the Intelligent Power Module (IPM) of the converter, often caused by similar issues to general overcurrent faults.
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect motor power cables for insulation damage, signs of short circuits, and ensure secure connections at both the converter and motor terminals.
Verify converter parameters such as motor rated current, acceleration/deceleration times, and current limits match the connected motor and application requirements.
Measure motor winding resistance and insulation resistance to ground and between phases to detect internal motor faults.
Inspect the mechanical load connected to the motor for binding, obstructions, or excessive friction that could cause overcurrent.
Measure the incoming AC supply voltage at the converter's input terminals to confirm it is stable and within specified operational limits.
