Verify the nominal supply voltage at the affected sensor's power input terminals.
Inspect all cabling connected to the affected sensor for physical damage, loose connections, or improper termination at both the sensor and the I/O module/controller.
Check the status indicators (LEDs) on the relevant I/O module or network coupler for the affected sensor within the Omron NJ/NX system for any error or communication loss indications.
Using Omron Sysmac Studio software, verify the I/O communication status, device diagnostics, and error logs for the specific sensor or I/O point reporting the error.
