What does 08490000 hex mean?

The current flowing to the motor exceeded the protection level, indicating an excessive load or electrical fault. This can result in damage to the motor or Servo Drive if not addressed promptly.

Common Causes

  • Short-circuit, ground fault, or contact failure on the U, V, or W motor cable.
  • Short-circuit on the wiring of External Regeneration Resistor.
  • Insulation resistance failed between the U, V, or W motor cable and the motor ground wire.
  • False detection due to noise.
