934

Calculated armature inductance is less than 0.00017 Henry.

Otis · DSD 412 Elevator System

What does 934 mean?

The DSD 412 drive will not perform Self-Tune if the calculated load inductance is less than 170 micro-henries. This fault may occur during Self-Tune (Function #997) or Self-Diagnostic (Function #998).

Common Causes

  • The actual motor inductance is genuinely below 170 micro-henries.
  • Incorrect Vac value set in parameter #9.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify the actual armature inductance of the motor to confirm it is not below 170 micro-henries.

  2. 2

Verify that the Vac value set in parameter #9 is correct for the input line voltage.

  3. 3

Manually enter the minimum allowed inductance value into parameter #5 if the actual inductance cannot be increased.

  4. 4

Set parameter #2 to OFF if performing manual entry for inductance.
