The Device Level Ring (DLR) protocol has identified an unintended redundant path, forming a network loop outside of the designed ring structure. This can lead to broadcast storms, packet duplication, and severe network instability if not resolved.
Click steps to track your progress.
Carefully review the physical network topology to identify any unintended cable connections between DLR-enabled devices or connections to external switches.
Examine the DLR port configurations on all ring participants, ensuring that port roles and settings are correctly assigned and not inadvertently creating bridging loops.
Disconnect any recently added network devices or cables one by one to isolate the source of the unexpected loop.
