Phoenix Contact · FL SWITCH 7000
The device is unable to meet the operational requirements of the Device Level Ring (DLR) because its inherent capabilities do not support the configured values for beacon interval or beacon timeout. This prevents it from reliably participating in the ring protocol, potentially as a supervisor or even a normal node.

Access the "DLR Status Information" web page (Figure 4-34) and review the configured "Beacon Timeout" value, ensuring it falls within the device's specified operational range (200-500000).
If the device is intended to be a supervisor, check its DLR configuration for "Ring supervisor enable" (Attribute 4) and verify its "Capability Flags" (Attribute 12) support the required DLR features.
If the values are too aggressive, adjust the "Beacon Timeout" to a less stringent setting (e.g., closer to the default of 1960) to determine if the device can then support the parameters.
