An excessive current has been detected in the output stage of the MOVIMOT inverter. This typically indicates a short circuit, ground fault, or severe mechanical motor overload, causing the output current to exceed safe limits.
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect connected machinery and motor for any mechanical obstructions, jams, or signs of excessive load.
Inspect the motor cable and terminal connections at both the MOVIMOT unit and the motor for physical damage, chafing, or loose terminations.
Measure the insulation resistance of the motor windings and motor cable to ground using an appropriate insulation tester (Megger).
Measure the phase-to-phase resistance of the motor windings (U-V, V-W, W-U) and compare readings for consistency.
Verify MOVIMOT inverter parameters, specifically motor nominal current, overload factor, and acceleration/deceleration ramps, are correctly configured against motor nameplate data and application requirements.
