The oil aging sensor is not ready for operation, meaning it's unable to provide valid status information regarding oil condition. This could be due to a power supply issue or a malfunction within the sensor itself, leaving the system unprotected from oil-related issues.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Measure the supply voltage at the oil aging sensor's power input terminals (e.g., expect 24VDC ± 10% between positive and negative terminals).
2. Inspect all wiring connections between the oil aging sensor and the drive/control module for looseness, damage, or corrosion.
3. Verify sensor enable parameters in the drive (e.g., P3-10 set to 'Oil aging sensor DUV' and not 'Disabled').
4. If the sensor has local diagnostics (e.g., an LED indicator), observe its status for error codes or initialization state (e.g., solid green for ready).
5. Temporarily replace the oil aging sensor with a known good unit to determine if the sensor itself is faulty.
