The AI1 analog input is detected as an open circuit, meaning there's no signal or connection present. This prevents proper control or feedback based on the analog input, leading to loss of control or incorrect operation if that input is active.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Measure the resistance of the analog input signal wire from end to end (e.g., expect <5 Ohms for continuity) with power off.
2. Measure the output signal directly from the analog sensor (e.g., 4-20mA or 0-10VDC) at its terminals.
3. Verify wiring connections at drive terminals X10/AI1 and AGND for secure and correct termination (e.g., shielded cable connected to AGND).
4. Set parameter P6-01 (AI1 Function) to 'Disabled' if the input is not used, or ensure it's configured for the correct signal type (e.g., '4-20mA Current Input').
5. If using a 4-20mA sensor, measure the loop current with an ammeter in series at the drive's input terminals.
